General

  • Completion of the entry form evidences the Participants' agreement to abide by the relevant Rules & Regulations of the Safari Zoo Run 2010. Such rules and regulations apply at the material time and to all any ruling of the Organiser

Registration

  • The Organisers reserve the right to limit and refuse entries without assigning any reasons thereof.
  • Once the registration form has been duly processed, there will be no refund of registration fee for those participants who eventually do not take part for whatever reason.
  • Race category or race entry is not transferable. Any request for change of category would be subjected to an administrative fee of $10.
  • Participants are not only allowed to take part in more than one of the
    race categories
  • The Organisers shall not be held responsible for any disputes arising from incomplete entry details.

Race

  • Participants must wear their allocated Bib Number at all times during the race. Runners without the allocated Bib Number will not be allowed to take part in the race.
  • No pets, inline skates or shoes with built-in or attached rollers are allowed on the course except official race and medical vehicles.
  • Competitive winners are based on gun time. The 1st kid who crosses the finishing line is the champion.

  • The Organisers reserve the right to use any photograph, motion picture recordings, or any other record of this run and its participants for any legitimate purpose, including commercial advertising.

  • The Organisers reserve the right to delay the commencement of the race in the event of inclement weather. Should the inclement weather persist after the delay, the Organisers reserve the right to cancel the race without refund of
    registration fee.

  • The Organisers reserve the right to cancel or postpone the race without any prior notification, in which case, the registration fees are non-refundable.    

Safety & Medical

  • Whilst reasonable precautions will be taken by the Organisers to ensure the safety of participants, participants will take part at their own risks and the Organisers, their sponsors and their appointed officials shall not be liable for any death or injury, loss or damage, suffered or otherwise, and
    howsoever arising.
  • The Organisers reserve the right to remove any participant deemed physically incapable of continuing with the run to prevent him/her from causing greater harm and injury to himself/herself.
  • Participants are strongly encouraged to go for a medical examination and/ or consult their medical practitioner prior to registration and before the actual
    race day.
  • For the safety of participants, runners are advised to run on the designated path throughout the entire route.
